This panorama of the Baltimore Ravens playing for their home crowd at
M&T Bank Stadium was photographed by James Blakeway. Known for
staging one of the NFL’s most exciting gameday experiences, M&T Bank
Stadium was completed in 1998 and has a seating capacity of 71,008.
The Baltimore Ravens came into existence in 1996, and their name is a
reference to the poem “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe, who lived and
worked in Baltimore at various times during his life. The Ravens’
championship history includes a victory in Super Bowl XXXV, in addition
to multiple division titles and playoff berths.
