This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, spotlights the opening ceremony as the Jacksonville Jaguars prepare for a home game at EverBank Field under owner Shad Khan. The Jaguars have enjoyed significant success since joining the NFL in 1995, when they won more games in their first season than any previous NFL expansion team. In their second season the Jaguars qualified for the playoffs – the first of four straight postseason appearances – and advanced to the AFC Championship game. Three seasons later, in 1999, the team hosted the AFC title game. In their short history, the Jaguars have won two division championships and have made six playoff appearances.
