This panorama of the highly anticipated match-up between the University of Georgia Bulldogs and their long-time rival, the Clemson Tigers, was taken by Robert Pettit on August 30, 2014. Whether played on an annual or intermittent basis, the Georgia-Clemson rivalry has been a constant over the years, dating back to 1897. Fast forward to the 1980s and the rivalry became relevant on the national stage, when both programs rose to national prominence. Georgia, however, has consistently dominated the series and this game was no exception. At the end of the evening, the triumphant Bulldogs took center stage and defeated the Tigers with a final score of Georgia 45, Clemson 21.
